Ready Steady Go Go Bring Swing to the Fringe - Inverness Fringe Festival

Ross “Rosco” Smith is the man behind Ready Steady Go Go, the long-running Inverness club night that has been bringing soul, R&B and vintage dancefloor sounds to the Highlands for over 20 years.

Alongside fellow DJ and RSGG partner Allan Lauder, Ross digs deep into Northern Soul, 60s soul and R&B, reggae, ska, garage, funk, Latin, popcorn and rock ’n’ roll – mixing rare and obscure finds with tried-and-tested dancefloor favourites, always played on original vinyl.

Over the years, Ready Steady Go Go has welcomed an ever-growing cast of respected guest DJs and collectors from across the UK and beyond. The RSGG philosophy has always been simple: great records, original vinyl and no musical boundaries – if it moves the dancefloor, play it!
