Highland touring company Dogstar Theatre present Three Kings Came a Riding by Ian McDonough at Xoko Upstairs on Wednesday 30 September, 7pm to 9pm.
This play read out is brought to you by Highland based Dogstar Theatre.

Dogstar are Inverness-based and Europe-facing — the company behind The Tailor of Inverness and new work that still tours village halls as readily as international stages. This is a new play from that house: remote-island Scotland after the mainland has gone quiet.

Janie lives with her parents, Samuel and Anna, and an imaginary friend called Michael. A plague has emptied the mainland. Samuel has found other survivors on the short-wave — they are coming. He believes God is steering him. Anna is not so sure whose voice he is hearing. What do the visitors want? And what about Janie?

Midweek Fringe. A room above Xoko. Close enough to hear the radio crackle.
