This introductory workshop is for anyone who wants to try screenwriting — no experience needed, just curiosity and a willingness to have a laugh.
You’ll invent characters, find places for them to live, and put them into action. By the end you’ll have the bones of an idea you can take home and keep going with. Expect a fun, hands-on session, not a lecture.
The workshop is introduced by Anna Zaluczkowska — award-winning screenwriter and former Head of Screenwriting at the Northern Film School, Leeds. Anna still writes short and long screenplays, theatre and interactive work, and makes her own documentaries and short films. She now lives in the Highlands, and she’s here to share the craft without the gatekeeping.
