Raw Acts Scratch Night lands at Inverness Fringe — the Highland platform where comedy, music, theatre, poetry and whatever-else-is-still-wet get their first proper room.
Founded and hosted by Inverness actor and producer Betsy King, Raw Acts is built for work in progress: short sets, first drafts, extracts, songs that haven’t found their last chorus yet. The brief is simple. Try it in front of people who want you to succeed. Then stay for the chat afterwards — the night is as much about connection as it is about the stage.
This is not a polished showcase and it isn’t an open mic free-for-all. It’s a supportive, inclusive scratch night with accessibility and mental health in the design, not as an afterthought. If you’ve been to Raw Acts at Eden Court or the Bike Shed, you already know the temperature: mixed bill, high trust, actual risk.
